Invitation for Qualifying Consulting Firms of New East Alexandria Wastewater Treatment Plant Project
The Arab Republic of Egypt represented in Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has received a financing from the Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") towards the finance of New East Alexandria Wastewater Treatment Plant (NETP) with capacity 300.000 m3/d and intends to use part of the funds thereof for payments under the following project: Consulting Services for Preparation of Tender documents and support to tender and Construction Supervision Of Project.
The consultancy services included under this project are:
Phase 1: Conceptual design, tender documents and support to tender
The first phase includes preparing the conceptual and preliminary design for the New East Alexandria Wastewater Treatment Plant (NETP) to prepare a design and build tender (FIDIC Gold Book) in order to ensure a performance-based contract.
- Assistance to tender to the Employer (CAPW), which includes but is not limited to replying to the bidders’ clarifications, technical and Financial bids assessment, contract negotiations up to contract award.
Phase 2: Design Review and Supervision of works and ESMP implementation up to the end of commissioning, in addition to two years for O&M supervision.
In addition to Cross-cutting components – assistance to project management.
The Construction Authority of Potable Water and Wastewater (CAPW) now invites consultancy firms to express their interest in providing these services.
